在"Born This Way"的單曲封面上，Lady Gaga以80年代英倫華麗頹廢派視覺風格現身，在宛如性感女星法拉佛西的狂放髮型下，有著融合人類溫馴性格與動物狂野本能的眼神，而在她裸身的肩膀上以及眼部週圍出現有如甲殼般的突起，正當全世界以異樣的眼神臆測著Lady Gaga的裝扮時，她卻在這首歌曲中嘲諷了世俗對於外貌的迷思，千萬不要為了他人的觀感而隱藏真正的本性，因為，每一個人都有屬於自己獨特的特質，Lady Gaga藉由這首單曲提出「愛自己Love Yourself」的宣言。
