現年 20 歲南非裔澳洲男歌手 Troye Sivan，從小即熱衷於音樂與戲劇，12 歲就獨立發行首張 EP《Dare to Dream》，更曾受邀演出電影《X-Men Origins: Wolverine X戰警：金鋼狼》的少年金鋼狼角色，星路大開。17 歲時再度獨立發行 EP《June Haverly》，並開始經營 YouTube 個人頻道累積人氣，在 2013 年受 John Green 勵志小說《The Fault in Our Stars 生命中的美好缺憾》啟發寫下同名歌曲，因而被唱片公司 EMI 簽下。同年更拍攝一支短片公開出櫃，傳達正面能量。他表示：「這並沒有什麼好可恥的，不該有人因為自己是同性戀而感到羞恥，這也是為什麼我要分享這個影片的原因。」之後陸續推出兩張 EP《TRXYE》與《Wild》，勢如破竹，歌曲「Happy Little Pill」至今在 YouTube 已超過兩千多萬觀賞次數。乘著這股氣勢，在 2015 年底發行首張個人專輯《Blue Neighbourhood》，馳騁流行夢幻與電氣，展現新世代的狂放多變。專輯封面由台灣插畫家鄭曉嶸設計，打造唯美藍色年少，另外歌曲「Wild」、「Fools」以及「Take Me Down」 MV 以三部曲呈現，描述兩位童年好友的愛情故事，在同性關係中所面臨的掙扎與勇氣。送上專輯第三波主打「Youth」，享受青春歲月的無所畏懼與天真快樂，來場美好愛情的冒險體驗！
