成立於 1983 年，來自英國曼徹斯特的傳奇樂團 The Stone Roses，至今只發行過兩張專輯《The Stone Roses》(1989) 與《Second Coming》(1994)，但其音樂與文化潮流卻影響無數搖滾樂團及音樂人，除了將迷幻與舞曲元素注入搖滾樂，更是成就 90 年代英倫搖滾。Oasis 主唱 Noel Gallagher 表示，當第一次聽到歌曲「Sally Cinnamon」時，他找到了自己的使命為何。因為他們，才有之後的 Oasis。

The Stone Roses 於 1996 年解散、2011 年重組復出並在隔年展開世界巡迴演唱，2013 年推出樂團紀錄片《The Stone Roses: Made of Stone》，傳奇再臨。等了超過 20 年，他們將於 5/16 發行自 1994 年第二張專輯後的最新單曲「All For One」，由葛萊美金牌製作人 Paul Epworth 監製，單曲封面延續首張專輯招牌檸檬圖案，經典再現。I wanna be adored. 目前正在倫敦錄製全新第三張專輯，預計今年發行，告訴搖滾樂迷，石玫瑰回來了！
