　　現年 19 歲英國新生代創作才女 Laurel，曾是學校合唱團主唱，13 歲時受民謠唱作女歌手 Laura Marling 影響買了人生第一把吉他並開始創作，15 歲時便自行錄製首張 EP，展現音樂才華。今年初發行單曲「Fire Breather」，催眠嗓音加上心跳般節奏使人無法抗拒，被美國影集《The Vampire Diaries》選為插曲，完美襯托吸血鬼的神秘魅力。於 4 月發行 EP《To the Hills》，同名曲渲染力十足，使聽者陷入一種無助的情緒之中。送上同樣收錄其中的歌曲「Shells」，原本是她在 17 歲時因與男友分手而寫下的一首民謠創作，有趣的是，在母親建議下與製作人朋友 Shadow Child 的曲子做結合，擦出不同火花。電子與管弦樂的夢幻搭配，形成一股莫名吸引力。Laurel 預計明年初會發行首張個人專輯，一起期待更多創新獨特的作品！
