【歷史】：

　　從 2007 年開始，來自美國舊金山的 DJ Earworm 便以 Billboard 年度暢銷歌曲前 25 名的歌曲做混搭 (Mashup)，並於官網提供網友合法下載。從 2011 年開始，不再只選前 25 名，還另外參考每周排行榜，從中選出具有代表性的歌曲，以免有遺珠之憾。不只有歌曲，他同時也在 YouTube 發表 MV，其影片概念同歌曲一樣，畫面擷取自每首歌的 MV，搭配可以說是天衣無縫，只能說真是太酷炫了。

【歌曲介紹】：

　　從 2007 年開始，每到年底眾所期待 DJ Earworm 的超猛混搭單曲，千呼萬喚 2012 年最新作品，歌名叫"United State of Pop 2012 (Shine Brighter)"，提前送給大家今年最好的聖誕禮物。儘管世界末日到來，我們無所畏懼，更加閃耀動人。

　　以往是取材自 Billboard 年度暢銷歌曲前 25 名的歌曲，不過從去年開始有些許不同，除了從前 25 名中作選擇，還另外參考了這整年中的每周排行榜，選出具有代表性的歌曲，以免有遺珠之憾。今年就另外選了八首火紅單曲，江南大叔 Psy 的"Gangnam Style"就是其中一首。
