【樂團推薦】Welshly Arms，我們會成為傳奇！

來自美國克里夫蘭的樂團 Welshly Arms，由團長主唱兼吉他手 Sam Getz、鍵盤手 Brett Lindemann、貝斯手 Jimmy Weaver 和鼓手 Mikey Gould 於 2012 年組成，團名取自美國綜藝節目 Saturday Night Live 中的搞笑短劇內容。於 2013 年推出首張 EP《Welcome》，用歌曲「Two Seconds Too Late」和「The Touch」展露堅強狠實力。音樂風格受 Jimi Hendrix、The Temptations、Otis Redding 和 Howlin' Wolf，還有同源自俄亥俄州的 James Gang 和 the Black Keys 前輩們影響，融合靈魂、藍調與搖滾。

2014 年推出第二張 EP《Covers》，翻唱如 Sam and Dave 的「Hold On, I'm Comin'」以及 Roy Orbison 的「You Got It」等六首經典，在復古之中注入新血液，其中「Hold On, I'm Comin'」更被選為 Quentin Tarantino 執導的電影《The Hateful Eight》預告背景音樂。由於獲得不錯迴響，隔年再度推出翻唱 EP 第二輯《Covers Vol. 2》，重新詮釋 INXS 的「Need You Tonight」和 Fleetwood Mac 的「The Chain」等五首歌曲，之後更順勢推出樂團首張同名專輯《Welshly Arms》，讓更多人聽到他們的搖滾聲音。

It's about to be legendary. 持續創作並加入兩位新團員 Bri Bryant 和 Jon Bryant 擔任和聲工作，為 Welshly Arms 增添更多深度與活力。在去年交出兩首精彩熱血單曲「Bad Blood」和「Legendary」，多了點流行韻味，吸引主流樂迷的青睞。目前正在製作樂團第二張專輯，在今年 8/25 先推出全新 EP《Legendary》，收錄四首作品傳遞對音樂的投入還有在舞台上的熱情，其中包含為他們打開知名度的「Legendary」。此首歌被用於許多廣告、影集和電影預告中，還被選為超級英雄電影《Power Rangers 金剛戰士》德國上映片尾曲，創作靈感是 NBA 克里夫蘭騎士隊巨星 LeBron James 那努力不懈的態度與奮戰精神。期勉自己堅持下去，有朝一日受到矚目，成為傳奇！
