　　英倫搖滾樂團 Bastille 在今晚於台北 TICC 首度開唱，送上 2013 年首張冠軍專輯《Bad Blood》中的暢銷史詩主打「Pompeii」。壯闊和聲呈現氣勢磅礡的效果，歌詞描述羅馬罪惡之城龐貝的悲慘歷史命運，因維蘇威火山爆發而被滾滾塵埃覆蓋，消失於地表之上。或許是某種啟示，懲罰人類的各種慾望，從繁華到衰落，留下無限遺憾。記取歷史教訓，不重蹈覆轍，才能開創更美好的未來！附帶一提，和聲所唱的是拉丁語感嘆詞 eheu，英文翻作 alas，通常用來表示對發生不幸的事感到悲痛或遺憾等，為歌曲加深不少層次。而歌詞也暗喻人生或愛情，如果不想一成不變，就要開始做些改變；與其事後後悔，不如放手一搏。其 MV 像是小說《I Am Legend 我是傳奇》故事情節，也意在諷刺此事件。Bastille 希望大家在聆聽音樂、跟著旋律搖擺的同時，也能省思歌曲背後所要傳達的意義。
